With Solino coffee, a coffee that takes the idea of fair trade to its logical conclusion is finally available on the market. All the coffee beans used come 100% from the tropical rainforest mountain regions of Ethiopia and are hand-picked in the country, gently roasted using the Italian method and packaged.

Only the best Arabica beans from the Yirgacheffee, Sidamo and Harar regions are processed. They are particularly mild and low in acidity, with a uniquely aromatic taste. Buying Solino Espresso coffee helps to create and maintain skilled jobs in Ethiopia.

CO2 consumption during transport to Europe is also reduced, as the coffee already loses up to 25% of its weight during roasting in the country of cultivation. Even the best-known Trans-Fair programmes don't achieve this, as they only guarantee slightly higher wages for coffee growers in the country of origin.
