An international name, a young design, but a traditional coffee. The Maja brothers founded this roasting workshop in Milan in 1954. Thanks to their knowledge and passion, the clientele has grown considerably, enabling this coffee to become known and appreciated beyond the borders of Milan. The third-generation company, headed by Alberto Maja, revamped its design at EXPO di Milano. We liked it immediately, and the quality of these excellent blends - from organic coffee to 100% Robusta - is even better.

After the war, as in the rest of Europe, the people of Milan were full of energy and enthusiasm to create new things. It was from this great momentum that the family-owned Hardy company was born. In Italy, Milan is seen as a multicultural city, characterized by its economic strength and innovative ideas.

As the years passed, the company grew. Soon, this coffee found fans beyond the city’s borders, expanding throughout the country. Hardy owes this success to the Maja family, who, for generations, have carefully selected the finest coffee beans to ensure a perfect coffee blend that meets the highest standards.

For more than a decade, the company has also been exporting its coffee worldwide.

Hardy’s initiative to produce certified organic coffee led us to appreciate the Zanzibar line so much that we included it in our selection. In addition to whole beans and ground coffee, we also offer Hardy capsules.
