"Award-winning Duo" trial set
2 x 1000g whole espresso beans in a bag
This tasting set includes two of our top coffees, both of which have received multiple gold medals from the IIAC (International Institute of Coffee Tasters) for their exceptional quality and outstanding flavor. But it's not just the awards that highlight the aromatic diversity and taste of these coffees; consistently positive customer reviews also demonstrate just how good they truly are.
Golden Brazil Coffee - Black
1000g whole espresso beans
Blend ratio: 80% Arabica beans/20% Robusta beans
Golden Brasil roastery has created a truly Italian espresso with this blend, unmistakably full-bodied and classically intense. Using green coffee beans from Brazil, Costa Rica, India, Colombia, Congo, Panama, Peru, Togo, and Uganda, a broad bouquet of aromas and flavors is combined. Fruity, floral notes of jasmine and papaya can be tasted alongside dark chocolate and almond.
With every sip, you'll experience a true explosion of flavor. The individual green coffee beans are, of course, traditionally roasted separately in a drum roaster to a medium roast level, resulting in their refined, full-bodied taste. Compared to other espressos, the caffeine content of Golden Brasil Black is in the lower half. This makes it ideal for enjoying at any time of day and in any coffee preparation.
The Golden Brasil Black has already been awarded gold five times by the IIAC (2017, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024).
Alunni Caffè - Ricetta Luigina
1000g whole espresso beans
80% Arabica beans | 20% Robusta beans
Alessia Alunni dedicates this blend to her mother, Luigiana.
Eight different green coffees are blended for Alunni Caffè's Ricetta Luigiana. They all come from small coffee plantations in Brazil, Kenya, Nepal, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Santo Domingo. Robusta beans from India (India Kaapi Royale) and Cuba are added to this espresso for a fantastic crema and a rich brown color.
This coffee tastes like it's fresh from an Italian espresso bar. Luigiana forms a perfect symbiosis with milk, as its strong, full character is gently caressed on the palate. Aromas of roasted nuts, bread, and baked goods can be detected, as well as stone fruit and blossoms. The finish of Luigiana is long and intense, but not overpowering, and virtually acid-free.
This blend also won three IIAC gold medals (2019, 2020, 2021).
