Caffè Di Giampaolo has attributed a special wind to each espresso blend. Shamal is a northwestern summer wind in the Arab region that blows strongly, especially in the morning and at midday, and so it is with this espresso coffee. Ideal as an early morning espresso. The noble Shamal Cuvee consists of 6 arabica varieties. The beans for this special blend come from the best coffee growing areas. These are located in the highland forests of Brazil, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and India.
The Shamal is of course roasted in a gentle drum roasting process. Each variety is roasted individually and according to its own roasting profile. The Espresso Shamal is roasted medium to dark. This way, the acids contained are very mild, which gives the remaining flavours more room to develop.
If you want a multi-faceted espresso in your cup, the Shamal is the best choice. Because with the different Arabica varieties, the intense fruity notes come together excellently with a range of nutty aromas.
In the cup, the Shamal shines in a beautiful hazelnut brown. Slightly floral and fruity notes flow from the cup. This fruit potpourri is rounded off by dark chocolate and caramel aromas. Thick and creamy, the Espresso Shamal flows over the tongue and causes a taste explosion on the palate.
Thanks to its outstanding quality, Caffè Di Giampaolo Shamal has been certified as Espresso Italiano by the INEI (Istituto Nazionale Espresso Italiano). The institute protects and promotes real espresso and has been doing so since 1998.
