Blend ratio: 95% Arabica beans/5% Robusta beans
The masterpiece by Toraldo Caffè.
Only carefully selected Arabica and Robusta coffees are used for Toraldo Origini Espresso. The beans are first roasted slowly and gently, one variety at a time, at temperatures between 200 and 220 degrees Celsius, before being blended into a balanced mixture.
As is typical for Caffè Toraldo and other Neapolitan roasters, this espresso blend is also strongly and darkly roasted. The long roasting time gives the beans a slightly oily texture and a silky sheen. The 5% Robusta bean content rounds out the blend, lending it a full body and a hazelnut-brown crema.
An espresso that is not very acidic despite its high Arabica content.
