The Rosso blend from the traditional Mokaflor company in Florence stands out for its strong, intense character. The beans from Brazil and the Caribbean give it a full body, combined with the fine sweetness of the Central American varieties, and its beautiful crema comes from Robusta beans from India and Indonesia.
The coffee is roasted using a process known as "separation", in which each variety/type of bean is roasted according to its respective ideal roasting point. To achieve this, Mokaflor uses a rotary drum roaster in which the beans are roasted slowly and gently.
As a result, Rosso coffee has a spicy, full-bodied flavour and is particularly easy to digest thanks to this gentle roasting.
Evaluation : Medium-bodied coffee, nice smoothness, medium caffeine content.
