Marziali Caffè Orobar
1000g whole espresso beans
This espresso has been roasted in the heart of Rome since 1922. 100 years of roasting experience ensure a truly exceptional coffee experience.
Marziali's Orobar is a blend of 12 exclusive varieties:
Brazil Santos Cerrado Dulce (Natural)
Guatemala Maragogype (Washed)
Colombia Supremo (Washed)
India Plantationa (Washed)
India Cherry (Natural)
Ethiopia Djimmah Jasmine (Natural)
Perù Tres Mosqueteros (Washed)
Nicaragua Cavallino (Washed) - Arabica beans
India Monsooned (Natural)
India AAA (Natural)
Cameroon Selected (Washed)
Congo HTM (Natural) - Robusta beans
Naturally, each variety is roasted individually according to its unique profile and then gently air-cooled. Only then are the beans blended in a carefully calculated ratio to create this balanced mix. The beans have a uniform, deep brown color.
The blend of green coffees creates a unique taste experience with intense and complex notes and a full body. In the cup, the Orobar releases aromas of dark chocolate and on the palate reveals flavors of dried fruit, toasted bread, and a robust hazelnut note.
As early as 1922, guests at Leone Marziali's, the founder of Marziali Caffè, could enjoy this wonderful espresso. At that time, coffee was still a rarity and reserved for the upper class. Fortunately, Orobar soon made a name for itself throughout Rome and beyond.
A true classic that, even after all this time, remains the most popular coffee in the surrounding cafés in Rome. We wholeheartedly recommend the Orobar; it tastes simply divine as an espresso and in all milk-based coffee variations.
In 2016, Marzilai Espresso Orobar was awarded at the international coffee tasting by Institute of Coffee Tasting awarded the gold medal.
