With Domus, Moka Efti presents a clever blend of the best Arabica beans from Guatemala and Brazil, combined with Indian and Mexican Robusta beans. The Robusta beans, in particular, give this blend an incredible chocolate flavour and make it irresistibly creamy. In addition to the traditional dark chocolate and hazelnut aromas, there are also delicate clove and cinnamon notes as well as light floral notes.
This blend also lingers at the end of the tasting and immediately calls for the next delicious sip. It is best enjoyed with hot milk foam in a cappuccino or latte macchiato, but Domus is also excellent as an espresso.
In fact, Moka Efti was the official coffee supplier to the Italian royal family under King Vittorio Emanuele III. If that isn't a distinction!
