Moka Efti's Extra Bar Lungo, with its low proportion of Robusta beans, can be considered a versatile coffee.
The Moka EFTI Extra Bar ‘Lungo’ ESE pod is perfect for all lovers of long-lasting coffee. For a long time, pods were reserved for preparing espresso, but now it's also possible to enjoy a high-pressure ‘lungo coffee’. This longer version of espresso is obtained by grinding the beans more coarsely. This guarantees a full flavour and avoids the release of bitter substances during the prolonged brewing process.
In the cup, it has a beautiful crema and is very well balanced, with a fine fruity acidity and well-balanced aromas of dark chocolate.
The packaging, with its oriental elements, is a wonderful evocation of the origins of this coffee. The MOKA Efti café in Berlin in the 1920s was the epitome of this style, combining decorative art and oriental charm.
