Kimbo was born from the vision of the Rubino family, who, like many other great roasters, started from humble beginnings. From the 1960s to today, over 60 years later, the company has grown rapidly, competing with local market giants and securing the second position in consumer preferences.

The Rubino family's ambition is fueled by the unique love Neapolitans have for the black brew: no one knows better how to turn coffee beans into black gold.

Kimbo Caffè follows its own philosophy, favoring Arabica beans in its blends for a more delicate and smooth coffee, naturally complemented with select Robusta varieties. The beans are sourced directly from their countries of origin and, after meticulous quality checks, are sent to the workshop as samples, where further experts and tasters verify their properties and flavor.

The roasting company also supports small-scale farming, local producers, and the environment. Kimbo Integrity is the production line that selects coffee varieties produced in Rainforest Alliance-certified plantations, respecting local nature and preserving the land’s gifts.

ESE pods are available in various blends in the 44 mm format (the most common) and are compostable, making them easy to recycle in line with environmental principles.
